These Mosaics are made using the Pique Assiette technique. Pique Assiette makes use of re-cycled and broken crockery, glass, and found items. These are combined with other mosaic materials. Mosaics panels are made on a painted ply or mdf wooden panel, and come complete with hanging hook (s) on the rear, or can just free-stand on a shelf if you prefer. Each is unique (for sizes and shipping calculated by weight please see individual listings) and unlike artworks on paper they can be hung in areas where humidity is a factor. Please note these mosaics are only suitable for indoor display, and are not frost proof.

Please note that due to the highly reflective nature of the polished and mirrored surfaces, it is impossible to capture every detail of these beautiful mosaics through a camera lens!
